1. Emerges from grand central (took train from airport). Amazed and in shock by everything
2. goes down to a subway station and has to ask around for how to get to her destination
3. gets in. thinks about why she moved to nyc (pursue theatre), gives background.
4. Takes subway her to apartment in Greenwich Village. Not the nicest apartment, but will do. Rooming with the daughter of her mom's friend.
5. Doesn’t have much time because there is an audition for a Broadway musical coming up that her agent told her about
6. Quickly gets ready and rushes out the door. Again overwhelmed by everything around her. Gets on the subway again down to Times Square.
7. Arrives at theatre and listens to casting director talking. Calls everybody up on stage to stand in a line. They look through everyone and immediately cut her as well as other people.
8. Extremely disappointed, had never been through a cattle call in her hometown.
9. Slowly trudges along sidewalk, crushed, boards subway to go back to her apartment.
10. While walking from subway station to apartment, spots a small cozy coffee place and heads inside.

12. Looks over and spots an abandoned newspaper sitting on a nearby table. Goes and picks it up flips to the job section. Decides she will stick it out, get a job, keep going to auditions and will eventually hit it big.
